pawns and props

i was listening to the debates and was contemplating the statements about "green jobs"

here's the only green manufacturing job that's currently doing what it was advertised to do, but i don't see it being touted as anything but a convenient talking point by our current administration...

we did what you asked of us. when will you support our issues? my job here is nearly over, my reward will be a cut in the military and the prospect of working in fast food.

the more liberal the politician the more they prop up coffins and plead about how much they sympathize while tying the hands and leashing the dogs.

i don't worry about the afghanis killing me nearly as much as our current administrations R.O.E. death by politically correct policy. all meant to make a populace feel like you can fight a war without hurting anyone's feelings.  pretty ridiculous that soldiers are more worried about policy landing them in court than being rocketed by the enemy. now rather than shooting the enemy down like the murderous wretch he is we hesitate and get shot up for the props behind a photo-op moment.

god i miss the cold war!
